We’re onto series 13 of “The A to Z of Pop” and Richard Smith is introducing decades into the mix.
First up is the 1950s.
Each week, he’ll select two letters of the alphabet and bring you music where the song or the artist begins with those letters.
This week, it’s the letters B & C.
So if you like 1950s music, tune in each Tuesday at 14:00 for the “A to Z of Pop” here on NHR.
From all of us at Nottingham Hospitals’ Radio, we’d like to wish you a Happy New Year.

We’re sorry we’ve been quiet for the last few hours (Literally).
We’re glad to say that a problem with our stream provider has been resolved and we’re back up and running.
If you have one of our WiFi Radios, you may need to unplug it for 20 seconds if it’s not currently playing.
We’re really sorry to say we are currently experiencing a few technical difficulties at the moment which means you can’t hear us.
Update: 18:00 Saturday 17th December – We believe the issue has been identified with a third party supplier. We have a support ticket open with them. Hospedia units will now be working. Wifi Radios, MyTunerRadio App and website listening are affected.
Due to popular demand, from 28/11/2022 we’re making a couple of changes to our Monday show schedule.
Mondays “Your Choice” with Little Stevie will be moving to a new time of 11:00 – 13:00.
Golden Years (where we look at a specific year and include loads of original news clips) will move to a new time of 17:00
